Old Photographs

Below are some old, and some not so old, pictures from our past.

1920 3rd Greenock

Seen here are the boys and staff of the 3rd Greenock circa 1920.
The 3rd's Captain at that time was William Hutchison, who served as captain from 1909 to 1937.

The 92nd Greenock, 1941

Captured on a postcard from 1941, just weeks after the Town was bombed during "The Greenock Biltz", is this picture of the 92nd Greenock company.

Led by Mr. R. K. Brew, Battalion Secretary and Captain of the 9th Greenock, the 92nd was pooled from the boys of the 2nd Greenock and the 9th Greenock due to wartime limitations.

One of the boys of the "Dandy 9th", as they were called, is a very well known good friend to the present staff and boys of the 3rd Greenock.
Seated in the second row, 4th from the right is Mungo S. Brooks, who went on to Captain the 2nd Greenock from 1955 to 1982.

3rd Greenock 95-96

At the start of the 1995-96 session, the 3rd opted to have official company photographs taken. This first one, shows just the boys of the three sections, and was taken in the Mount Kirk church.
Some of the boys in the red Anchor boys' jerseys are now Company section members!!

The second of our photographs from the start of the 1995-96 session shows both the boys and the Staff of the three sections.
